MDD2 Manual Direct Drive
The Manual Direct Drive MDD2 module is suitable to control a Danfoss PVG32 or PVG120 valve with 2 relais manually by means of 2 adjustable setpoints. The valve will here with obtain a fixed value for the A port or the B port.
The Voltage will be offered to the input port of a valve by an external relais, so with a digital output port on the PLC an analogue Voltage will be transferred to the input port of the valve.

The control rate is for both the A port as for the B port seperately adjustable.
The module is suitable to control one valve.
Practice
Sometimes the hydraulic flow you need to provide is relatively fixed and the function you need is “on” and “off” or “up”, “down” and “stop”.
This black&white control often needs the flow which can be adjusted to a “fixed” value.
For these situations you can use the Manual Direct Drive MDD2 with 3 constant outputs.
Adjustment range
The Voltage at the UP output port is adjustable between 50% to 75% of the supply Voltage.
At 12V supply the output port is adjustable between 6 and 9V.
At 24V supply the output port is adjustable between 12 and 18V.
The Voltage at the DOWN output port is adjustable between 25% to 50% of the supply Voltage.
At 12V supply the output port is adjustable between 3 and 6V.
At 24V supply the output port is adjustable btween 6 and 12V.
The STOP terminal has 50% of the supply Voltage and this is not variable. When this Voltage is offered to the valve, then this valve will be standing in the middle position.
