Production documentation

Production documentation is important in order to maintain quality. It ensures reproducability and a constant quality level of the manufactured products. Creating a production document will cost time. However most of the necessary information is already available during the design stage. This information is added to the design in the CAD program an dduring the CAD-CAM integration stage a new production book will be produced automatically. So every design change, no matter how small, will automaticalle result in a new, touched up, production book. Maintaining quality makes it necessary that the relationship between design and product is kept always, including the chain inbetween.
